Manchester United are reportedly preparing for a major squad overhaul, with the club said to be willing to sell at least five players during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to a report by The Sun, the players placed on the potential transfer list were all signed during the tenure of former manager Erik ten Hag. The move is believed to be part of the club’s broader plan to rebuild the squad.

Among those reportedly available for transfer are Rasmus Højlund, who joined the club for £64 million, Joshua Zirkzee (£36.5 million), Manuel Ugarte (£50.5 million), André Onana (£43.8 million) and Mason Mount (£55 million).

The report also suggested that veteran players Casemiro and Harry Maguire could leave the club once their current contracts expire in the summer.

In addition, the futures of players currently out on loan, including Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho, remain uncertain, with permanent transfers for the duo reportedly under consideration.

The restructuring follows a turbulent period at Old Trafford, with the club parting ways with head coach Ruben Amorim in January. Club executives are now searching for a new permanent manager to lead the next phase of the team’s rebuilding project.

Despite the potential departures, United have already made several additions to strengthen the squad. New arrivals reportedly include Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Šeško and Senne Lammens.
