A Popular Nollywood Award-winning Actress, Funke Akindele, has shared her perspective on Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedures, revealing that she admires it so much but scared of carry out the surgery

On a recent episode of The Morayo Show, the popular Jenifa star said she appreciates the aesthetic appeal of body enhancement procedures, particularly more subtle results. However, she admitted she is unlikely to undergo such surgery due to her low tolerance for pain that may result from it.

Akindele stressed that she does not oppose cosmetic procedures, noting that individuals should feel free to enhance their appearance if they choose. She, however, urged caution, advising women to avoid excessive alterations and to carefully consider the risks involved in it.

Beyond BBL, the actress also reflected on the personal impact of fame, describing herself as someone who is deeply passionate and emotionally intense. She characterised her personality as “extreme,” explaining that she tends to give her all in relationships.

She further disclosed that her strict and disciplined nature has influenced her personal connections, sometimes leading her to distance herself from people she once cared about and maintaining high standards has come at a personal cost.

Akindele explained one of the less glamorous aspects of success, stating that life at the top can be isolating, staying successful often requires discipline and caution, which can limit close friendships and lead to a sense of loneliness.
